Are you lonesome tonight?

This was a really fun challenge (the husband even said so.)   The challenge is make a project inspired by a song.   I was stumped - outside of the obvious I didn't have any ideas until I pulled this image out of my already colored stack.   He is http://digitalpenciltoo.blogspot.com/2011/08/come-hither.html and I thought he'd make a perfect card for a girlfriend.    The song Are You Lonesome Tonight? come to mind immediately.   The paper is from Basic Grey and I inked it a bit more with purple, the stamp is from Tim Holtz, I used stickles to create a little low light, the bats are made from black ribbon and the font is downloaded from the internet - Fangsong.    I hope everyone with slightly warped sense of humor like mine enjoy this - thanks for looking!

Wedding Celebration

Casual and bright wedding card using Mo's image Bethy's Wedding and Basic Grey papers - Sweet Threads.   Picture doesn't do the brightness of the colors justice.   Also used pearls and Webster's Pages bloomers.   Thank you for looking!

Giggle

It is a very gray day here and it appears my camera wanted to convey that as the colors on this card are much more vibrant than they appear here.    Anyway, here is my entry to Mo's Challenge this week.   The challenge this week is create something that features something sweet and food related.   I can't think of anything sweeter than cotton candy and this little girl.   You can find her here http://www.mosdigitalpencil.com/products/Cotton-Candy.html.   She is colored with surprising few Copic Markers.   The paper is from Basic Grey, their Out of Print collection.   I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder colored over with distress ink and finished with some rick rack trim, pearls and a tag which you cannot read but says Giggle - all from my stash.   Thank you for looking!

This for Basic Grey challenge; I used Kioshi paper and stickers from the Porcelain collection.   The stamp is one I bought on clearance years ago and colored with Copics.    I love this little guy's face!
